DESCRIPTION:
The ERP and IT Systems Supervisor is a critical part of the Conception Nurseries Business Operations team. This position is responsible for first and second level problem determination, problem/incident recording, resolution and escalation. The successful candidate will provide customer assistance with routine inquiries and problems as they occur. Support provided will include software, hardware, networks, client/server systems, desktop application software, peripheral devices, and others. The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to and understanding of customer satisfaction and must make the necessary effort to satisfy client needs while working in the best interest of the overall organization.
This role will be required to lead Data/ERP technicians, design solutions for difficult problems, optimize and enhance workflows, and manage outside contractors. This role requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Information Technology
- Responsible for all aspects of Workstation Administration on Windows OS and Google OS.
- Provide software support for applications including Google Workspace, MS Office suite, Adobe platforms and Conception Nurseries proprietary software
- Provide technical hardware support by building new systems for deployment, installing hardware components such as memory, video, controller cards, LAN cards, etc.
- Responsible for user account management
- Responsible for employee badge management
- Maintain working knowledge of all deployed applications
- Coordinate application training and conduct training sessions. Develop and maintain training materials as needed.
- Develop and maintain written documentation on installation, configuration, and support procedures to ensure standardization, proper installation, integration, and continuing operation of computer workstations
- Manage all warranty processes and procedures
- Follow change control procedures prior to initiating any additions, deletions, or changes to the current environment.
- Utilize and master in-house tools designed for asset management, application management, and software inventory management
- Monitor and update anti-virus and system updates to ensure systems are running with the latest definition files.
- Assist in the evaluation and onboarding of new electronic systems
- Ensure Information Security Policies are always kept intact for maximum level of protection of all digital and physical assets
- Escalate to senior management when needed
ERP Supervisor
- Oversee day-to-day operation of ERP system
- Ensure team follows all data entry and reporting procedures
- Provide leadership and assistance for ERP teams across all locations.
- Manage ERP systems to ensure it provides Conception with proper business solutions and accurate results.
- Support multiple departments through the entering, collection, and management of data in the ERP system and Google sheets
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities and check output
- Work closely with Business Intelligence Manager to ensure data integrity
- Provide procedures and reports to identify and resolve data integrity issues.
- Participate in staff recruitment and retention activities.
- Develop SOP and training documents
- Set clear team goals and monitor performance
- Create inspiring team environment with open communication culture
- Perform regular audits of ERP system to ensure data accuracy
- Perform periodic performance reviews.
- Manage schedules and assign individual responsibilities.
- Recognize gaps in skills and offer training to improve staff performance.
- Ensure health, safety, data integrity, and security rules are followed
- Maintain clean, sterile equipment and facility
- Perform other dues, as assigned
Regulatory
- Stay current on cannabis/METRC regulations for all locations.
- Stay current on all Information Technology regulatory policies
- Provide regulatory input to management, as necessary.
- Ensure Metrc uploads are completed
- Manage Metrc system
Administrative
- Use and continually develop leadership skills.
- Maintain excellent communication skills encompassing verbal, written, and listening skills with management and production staff.
- On-call in case of emergencies
- Performs additional duties as requested by management.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years previous experience in Information Technology
- 2+ years ERP systems management experience
- 2+ years supervisory experience
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience required
- Excellent supervisory, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Strict adherence to company philosophy/mission statement/sales goals
